The Problem

Creating great applications is no easy feat. There are many key questions that drive and underpin development, such as how the application can best relay meaningful information to the user.

While developing Reactime, an open source React state debugging tool, our engineering team was faced with this very same question. The application was originally built on D3.js, a popular visualization library. However, we saw opportunities to enhance the user experience and better contextualize the data.
